Mmmmm, k. So here is the post(s) that I have been mulling over in my head for, oh, the past 3 months. I have been trying to think of the best way to catch up on about 6 months. Rather than making a post that is FOREVER long, I am going to have to break this up into several posts. I think each family member is getting a post. Oh dear, I a rambling......So, here is my general update......Life is HECTIC!!!!!! As if this were different, right? But moving overseas, ya'll, OH MY!!! Can it be any crazier???? Maybe so, if we were moving to the moon!!!! It seems that at every turn there is something squirrley that goes awry. For instance, our moving company showed up on a Monday, at 10:00, without enough supplies, not prepared to pack our stuff. So, in their infinate wisdom, they worked until 3:00 and left. YIKES!! It took them 4 days to FINALLY get us out of our house. Maybe because they only worked 16 hours total in those 4 days, and that's before you take out the hourly smoke breaks. I told Damon that I needed a career change and a bad habit. Then I could have some time to myself!!! That was the beginning of a LONG spiral downward on this whole moving thing! We are SOOOOO ready to get on that plane, we can almost taste the free peanuts!
Tonight is Damon's going away with his friends from this base (and after 6 years there are many). He is at the barber shop (because I simply do not want to cut his hair). I will do my best to update as long as I can......I have errands of my own to run!!
